1. 1122 miles each way.
2. 6 grandchildren.
3. retired, but work part time.
6. Have traveled extensively. Both for work and pleasure. Best trip, chartered a yacht in the Bahamas. Did that twice.
7. Met a number of famous people and visited with them, some are: Thor Heyerdahl, Gen. Dolittle, Bob Hope, Victor Borge, Ray Bolger, Marlin Perkins, Forrest Tucker, Helen Hayes, Marion Anderson, James McCarther, Jacques Costeau, and a few others. Met during travels and through the work that I did.
9. A vet yes, no actual war. Trained the Cubans for the Bay of Pigs, and were off shore with the Navy and Marines when they invaded.
