Ann Kohley Spencer:

John and I will be married 48 years in January.  We moved to Basalt, Co., which is 18 miles Northwest of Aspen, in June of 1973. Our four children were 2, 5, 8 and 10 at the time and although they were all born in Naperville, consider this their home. We feel very blessed to have all our children and their families living in Colorado.  John III, Katherine, Christine and Paul have also blessed us with 7 grandchildren, of which the oldest is 16 and youngest 4 years old.

We are retired.  I taught pre school for years after our own children were well on their way in school.  John's a retired general contractor.  We live here in the center of the Rocky Mountains and enjoy skiing, camping and traveling.

We get back to Naperville quite often because my brothers still live in the area.  We've walked the River Walk many times and I'm proud to say that my parent's names are on the plough along the river.

As a country farm girl, I feel I missed out sometimes on what the town kids did, but still have fond memories of NCHS.
