Philosophy of life – Never Give Up!

Memories:

My favorite memories of Naperville are Centennial Beach and the ice Skating Rink.

The store I would revisit is Boecker’s Mensware.

My memorable teacher is Bud Berger.

Vic Nelson, Doug Hastert and Jack Weissenborn had the cool cars.

My favorite place to eat was “the Last Word.”

Sundays were golf, tennis, and church.

Favorite music was from Chuck Barry and Buddy Holly.

My first job was working for the Fuller Brush Man.

“Maverick” was my favorite television program.

As for scary things – the tunnels under the Field House, and the Aurora Black Shirt Gang.

A special memory is the 1957 Spinner to Welzel Hayrides.

Summer in Naperville – again, Centennial Beach, playing tennis, and golf.
